Each year the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council and Primacy Relocation rate the Best Cities for Relocating Families and name the top 50 cities in three market segments; large, mid-size & small. Once again, Honolulu has been named to the top 50 list for mid-size markets; metro areas with populations 600,000 to 1.3 million). Evaluating factors for the list include positive results for affordable housing, reasonable commutes, education, economy, quality of life, job growth, in-state tuition, population growth, number of pediatricians, and a green living index.
Top cities selected include Pittsburgh, PA (Large Markets), Omaha/Council Bluffs NE/IA (Mid-Size Markets) and Rockingham County/Strafford County, NH (Small Markets).
